Suzanne arrives at her sister Jeanne’s doorstep with her children. At first, it seems she wants to
restore their long-lost bond. But the next morning the illusion shatters – Suzanne is gone. With
the police unable to act when an adult disappears by choice, Jeanne’s anger slowly gives way to
the realization that she has become the new mother of two children she barely knows.

Originally from the south of France, Nathan Ambrosioni began his filmmaking career as a
teenager, volunteering on horror productions that went on to be selected for festivals such as
BIFFF, Screamfest, Fantasia, Sitges, BAFICI, CIFF, and FrightFest. His short film debut Ce
qu’il nous reste (What We Have Left, 2016) was selected for the Calgary International Film
Festival and the San Francisco International Film Festival. His feature debut Paper Flags (2018)
won multiple awards.
